Currently at MediWound, we are focusing on developing an enzymatic debridement agent for burn wound therapy, which provides an effective, selective, fast and safe first line product, consistent with current medical trends of minimal invasive modalities.

Debrase® Gel Dressing (DGD) is an innovative enzymatic product used for the debridement of burn wounds. DGD dissolves the eschar within 4 hours of treatment providing an effective, selective, fast and safe alternative to current debriding means, such as surgery or non-surgical methods.

MediWound operates a c-GMP sterile manufacturing facilty in which it manufactures its flagship product, DGD. In addition, MediWound provides manufacturing services to other healthcare companies.
